New Delhi – The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced a Request for Empanelment (RFE) for Landscape Architects and firms to collaborate in designing and developing Delhi’s green spaces. Applications are open until September 13, 2025. DDA Empanelment 2025
Greening Delhi
DDA’s Landscape and Environment Planning Department has already developed over 16,000 acres of green cover, including seven biodiversity parks, 11 Yamuna floodplain restoration projects, and more than 773 urban parks. These spaces now include yoga zones, fitness areas, play spaces, shaded seating, and cultural activity venues.
To further expand its ecological and recreational vision, DDA is now opening doors to external experts for upcoming projects—moving beyond its traditional in-house model to embrace new ideas and innovation.
Scope of Work
Selected architects and firms will design and redevelop:
- Urban parks, plazas, and public spaces
- Streetscapes with softscape and hardscape elements
- Biodiversity and wetland parks, green corridors
- Greens around heritage sites and monuments
- Special projects such as inclusive parks, stormwater systems, and theme parks
Eligibility Highlights
Applicants must have:
- A Master’s in Landscape Architecture (lead architect)
- At least five years’ experience
- A qualified team of five professionals
- Two completed projects worth ₹2 crore or more in the past six years
- CoA registration, turnover of ₹1 crore, and valid PAN & GST
